Privacy Policy

This policy covers my personal website, ryancstibich.com. The site uses no cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking, and I don't collect personal information.

Server logs

The site is hosted by Namecheap. Like nearly all web servers, theirs automatically records basic request information: your IP address, the date and time, the page you requested, your browser type, and the page that referred you. These logs are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting. I don't use them to identify visitors, and I don't sell or share them.

NDC Query

When you search on the NDC Query page, the NDC you enter appears in the page address, so it is included in the server logs above. Your browser also sends it directly to two public government services to retrieve the drug information:

• the National Library of Medicine's RxNav service (rxnav.nlm.nih.gov), and
• the Food and Drug Administration's openFDA service (api.fda.gov).

Like any website, those services receive your IP address along with each request, and their own privacy policies apply.

Links to other sites

This site links to other sites, such as LinkedIn, GitHub, and DailyMed. Their privacy policies apply once you follow a link.
